A Mother’s Love

Without a mother, life is not possible. God is the creator of the World, but he also needs a mother to take birth and come to this World. In our sastra ( sacred writings of Hinduism ), it is said that the mother’s position is equal to God. When a woman is pregnant, she suffers from unbearable physical pain, to give birth to a baby. By forgetting herself, her interests, her sufferings, she nurtures her child. For the sake of her children’s happiness, she fights all odds and troubles.

Mother is a guide, teacher, who teaches her children to walk on the path of truth. She teaches sanskar ( religion, values, culture). It is not possible to find any other example of Mother’s affection and sacrifice. All relationships are insignificant in comparison to a mother’s love. A Mother not only raises her children but stands as a pillar in support of her children. There’s nothing impossible for a Mother when it comes to the welfare of her children. There is no shortage of examples in society, of a mother who raises her children alone. Such mothers are an inspiration for society.
