So if you touch your face after touching a possible infected surface without sanitizing your hands, the virus can enter the body. All these precautions are essential while buying goods from a supermarket or purchasing them online. There’s a high risk of infection in the grocery stores or vegetable shops at every level, so it is advised to wear a mask, use hand gloves, practice social distancing and keep a distance of 6 feet from people. Social distancing is being adopted as a defense and a solution to control the spread of coronavirus. Therefore, we need to be extremely careful both while buying essential goods and bring them home.

  • Sanitize your hands before and after entering the store.
  • Use hand gloves and mask.
  • Avoid touching your face till you reach home and wash.
  • Avoid panic buying.
  • Make a list of essential goods priority wise before going to shop.
  • Wait for your turn don’t hurry.
  • Keep a distance of at least 6 feet while shopping.
  • Use disposable bags for shopping.
  • If you are using a cloth bag, wash it with detergent immediately after going home.
  • Make an online payment.
  • Avoid contact with a sick person.
  • Opt for the home delivery facility if available.
  • Wash your hands after going home.
  • Wipe all packets with a sanitizer.
  • Thoroughly wash vegetables, fruits, milk packets, etc. in running water. Allow them to dry and leave them for 72 hours in the balcony or corridor before using them.
  • Wash fruits and vegetables in three parts water and one part vinegar mixture to eliminate potential bacteria. Also, Buy veggies from a vendor with a health card.
  • Wash your mask, hand gloves after reaching home.
  • Follow all the guidelines issued by The Ministry of Health.

 

The coronavirus spreads through the air. The virus spreads rapidly in crowded places.  If an infected person coughs or sneezes in open, then some microscopic particles fall from his mouth or nose in the form of droplets that has this virus. This virus can enter the body of another person through these droplets if came in direct contact with the infected person. Also, the virus assembles itself on any surface through the air, and touching that surface can also be equally dangerous. It can also spread by the exchange of the card and money you use to make payments.
